It appears the fog is here in Beika as well.  [She takes a sip of whatever she's brewed up for herself and Hakase] I'm not surprised, to be honest.  We're fairly close to Ekoda.

[Her voice turns fond] Cousin Saguru is right.  It reminds me of London just before daybreak.

...The yellow is a little unsettling, however.

((Been meaning to say this for awhile, but if you want to assume your character(s) have met Haibara, especially during the HSAU, you're free to do so! I'm sorry I kinda failed with that event.))

London isn't always covered in fog, you know. Although having said that, I seem to be having the same problem.

... It's Ai Haibara, isn't it?

[identity profile] ofhopeandglory.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, that as may be, but the way some people harp on about it you'd think we were permanently blanketed in the stuff.

That's right.

I'd be happy to join you. It does make for good writing, but far too many people seem to take it as the truth.

Nor I with you. I've been much the same as ever, although if there is one good thing about all of this fog and cloud, it's that we're less likely to get bombed effectively while it's still here.

[identity profile] cloneofahalfa.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Is fog ever supposed to be yellow?

[identity profile] cloneofahalfa.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I've seen fog, but it was always whiteish/grayish.

But this stuff...it doesn't seem natural.

[identity profile] cloneofahalfa.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I would if I had the means to do it.

But then again, I don't know if normal science can say what it is. It's not a solely physical reaction because of a human's biology. It's affecting things that shouldn't be affected if that was the case.

Because I know this stuff can affect ghosts. And robots.

I don't know much about robots, but ghosts don't breath, don't have skin that breaths, and don't really have organs or anything.

Not to mention there's very little that can affect them biologically.

On my world they're very common. An official study and everything. I've been stuyding it most of my life. [Which isn't actually a lie!]

There's enough similarities that I can find them on other worlds if they still exist too. That's how I found out here. [Which is a lie, but just in case Haibara hears she's on Karen's world instead of her own.]

They had the same symptoms as me.

It seems a few people do now. Well, I do make a lot of study trips.

That's why I'm freaked. It's not natural at all.

Isn't a sample everywhere?

Well, i still don't think it's breathing it in that's the problem.

it's maybe something else..the fog can be dangerous if it's what I think it is.

It's better if we don't risk going out. I can sent you Doyle or Moriarty if you need them.

They're will be fine, don't worry.

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-12 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, but isn't it a bit strange for there to be fog in either area during this time of year? Especially since neither city is below sea level.

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
True... Fog does tend to linger more in low lying areas, as it takes longer for the sun's rays to evaporate the moisture.

Has there been any unusual activity involving pollution? Factory emissions, gas tanker accidents?

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm...

Ruling out those alternatives, I think you can guess what this means...

Nothing on your end, no. We're going inside the TV today to have a look around, figure out what's going on.

There has to be an explanation for all of this...

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-15 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't worry, I will.

I'll see what I can do. We should be able to travel to any world that's affected by the fog via the television. Erm... is there a decently large enough television in Dr. Agasa's laboratory?

[identity profile] truthinfortune.livejournal.com 2010-01-15 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. We'll be there as soon as we test out my theory with Akihiko-senpai. If we're successful, we come to your world immediately after.

You could probably try to collaborate with Dr. Stein. It appears as those he's been studying the fog since visiting the... secret laboratory.

I'll be sticking close to my teammates the whole time. I'm not as reckless as I used to be.

...He's close, yes, but... Stein operates on a different set of morals than Adachi. At least, from what I've seen of him. But I understand your concern.

We've never gotten lost before, not with Teddie's nose and Rise-chan's Persona guiding us! [A-Aw... ;__;]

Surprisingly, he's a teacher, and he has a soft spot for children. In truth, he's been training them to fight an entity in his world which is similar to Ameno-sagiri.

I'm used to pushing my luck. But we'll be cautious, don't worry. [Understandably so...]

I don't believe he'd do you any harm. I allowed him to examine myself and my Persona, for research. I wouldn't do that if I didn't trust him.
